A fully embraced continental hub strategy
Royal Air Maroc pursues a clear vision: to make Casablanca one of the largest air hubs in Africa. By developing seamless connections between Africa, Europe, and America, the airline reinforces its role as a strategic gateway within the continent.
New routes for better connectivity
Several African destinations are experiencing increased demand. RAM is exploring the opening or strengthening of routes to West Africa, Central Africa, and Southern Africa. These connections enhance the regional network and attract a diverse clientele: business travelers, students, diaspora, and tourists.
Gradual fleet modernization
In anticipation of upcoming major events – particularly the Africa Cup in 2025 and related tourism projects – the airline is committed to modernizing its fleet. The goal is to improve reliability, comfort, and capacity while reducing fuel consumption.
Strategic partnerships to gain ground
RAM is increasing interline agreements, codeshare arrangements, and technical collaborations with both African and international entities. These alliances allow for an expanded offering without significantly increasing costs, positioning RAM as an essential player in African skies.
Key positioning as 2026 approaches
This acceleration addresses several challenges: regional competition, the rise of competing African hubs, and economic opportunities stemming from African dynamics. RAM aims to solidify its leadership ahead of 2026, a pivotal year for the continent's mobility projects.
